The Life, Without You grief journal has been carefully and sensitively created to help support the bereaved parent (or anyone) in the first year of grief.
A blank page in a notebook can be daunting, so this unique journal was created to offer prompts to remove the effort in thinking how to start or what to write.
Just over A5 in size, the journal is ideal to keep by the bedside and also carried around in a handbag so you can capture your thoughts at any time. Printed on quality paper so it will be something you will want to use and keep for the future. The diary element provides guided diary pages so you can track your mood and emotions, the little lifts and the lows. There are also sections to record specific memories, recount the funeral day and letter templates to write to your loved one. With the gentle illustrations of Helen Braid, the journal can be used creatively with areas to colour in if desired.
Note from Kelly: The journal was originally published as a wiro bound book which enabled it to be used like a notepad; however, since stocks of those have run down, I have struggled to find an effective way to print this in wiro. The costs to produce a notepad are very high and in order to get the journal available in multiple countries I had to settle for Amazon’s print on demand solution. This enables the journal to be distributed globally and without holding stock; however, as yet, Amazon do not offer wiro binding. I would love to one day find a solution. All this means is that the journal does not open completely flat; however, this doesn’t affect use but I would like you to know this before you purchase.
